Pete Smith joined GoldBook Financial as Brokerage Director in September 2023. With over 16 years of experience, Pete has spent his career nurturing and developing relationships with independent brokers within the financial services industry.

Prior to joining GoldBook Financial, he served in similar roles at PennMutual and Pacific Life before joining Signature Resources in 2017. In his role at GoldBook, Pete will be responsible for overseeing brokerage operations and driving production for the firm. He also specializes in working with financial services reps and their clients to help protect their income as well as asset protection needs.

Pete is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a focus in Global & International Studies.

Pete earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. He also holds FINRA Series 6, 7 and 63 and is Life, Accident and Health Licensed.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, surfing, snowboarding, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
