Alberto is an innovative financial services industry professional delivering high-quality analytical solutions driven by a passion for building trust-based client relationships through an accurate quantitative approach, clear communication, and a transparent definition of goals. He specializes in advanced mathematical modeling and is a registered investment advisor representative, commodity trading advisor, and licensed insurance agent.
He is an experienced financial professional. He finished the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program to earn the CFA designation. The CFA is one of the most prestigious certifications in the industry. In addition, he also earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
Prior to joining GoldBook Financial, Alberto spent 12 years in the oil & gas industry as a project manager managing multinational and cross-divisional teams and as a business development manager responsible for groups working with accounts above $100MM.
Alberto graduated from Rice University in 2012 with his master’s in business administration with a concentration in Finance; he was awarded Rice’s full scholarship. He also has an undergrad degree in Physics.
Outside of work, he enjoys reading about history and Hispanic fiction authors. In his youth, he was an athlete, becoming state swimming champion, so he enjoys his free time practicing water sports. In addition, he was honored at his university for being a member of the volleyball team, winning several national championships. Finally, the most important thing for Alberto is his family.
Alberto holds FINRA series 7, 63 and 65 and is Life, Accident & Health licensed.
