Jeff Barrette

Jeff joined the GoldBook Financial team in September of 2023. He brings a wealth of life experience to share with his clients from his previous professional and athletic accomplishments, and his extensive travel adventures around the globe.

Jeff had a successful 20-year career in the financial markets with various US and European investment banks which spanned New York, Japan, and Hong Kong. As an institutional equity sales trader, he built relationships based on integrity, discretion, trust, and competence which he feels was the key to his success. It is these same principles that Jeff lives by, in addition to his passion to help individuals, families and businesses improve their financial outcomes, that positions him as a valuable resource to his clients.

Jeff played collegiate lacrosse at Gettysburg College earning MAC all-conference and USILAA All-America honors while leading his team to 3 NCAA Division III playoff selections. However, his biggest accomplishment is being a father, having been blessed with a son, Salvador, in 2015.

Jeff is grateful for all that life has provided him – good health and great family, friends, opportunities, and experiences. Originally from Garden City, New York he now resides in Ocean Beach, California. Outside the office, Jeff enjoys surfing, snowboarding, trekking, adventure travel, cooking, youth sports coaching, local community building, and dive bars.

Jeff holds FINRA series 7, 63 & 66 and is Life, Accident & Health licensed.
